error connecting to internet

I am trying to install the software but get the above error message, and this message in the window
Line001: OD - 6996Line002: MID - 8220.179
I am using a Samsung SF510, and don't have a second computer to try the software on

Hmm.... that is strange. You may have an older system which (through factory install) had some wierd settings on the computer that preventing certain types of applications from accessing the internet. You may need to try it on a different computer, alternatively check & make sure antivirus/firewall software, etc, isn't preventing it from accessing the internet.

I have allowed it through the firewall, but still get the error, albeit with different numbers. This computer was purchased new only about 3 weeks ago.
