Dad's Pet food FB Contest

Postby joe blasing » Thu Aug 25, 2011 1:18 pm

Just wondering how many people entered their pets in the Dad's contest? It said nothing about not photoshopping in a bag of Dad's, lol. I did and they accepted my entry. Please vote for my chubby little Osito. He is a Chow that was born with just a stub of a tail. They called him "defective" I call him adorable!

Oh, you don't vote on this one, I guess the judges just pick. I'd love to see some of the other board member entries though!

Hi!

Personally -- I think buying the petfood would be best -- yes -- you can photoshop -- but it defeats the spirit of the contest... I think they want something cut & adorable with your pet & the food.
(I did notice that some of the other entries were simply photoshopped).

Herein lies the problem to many of these contests. Do we REALLY use their products. My guess would be mostly "no".
My dogs cannot eat Dad's as they require special food because they are special needs, BUT my entry does draw the intrest of all my FB friends, thus giving Dad's the exposure they want from this contest in the first place.
Thanks-
Laurie

If your dog doesn't eat the brand, but you like the prizes, you buy it and donate to a shelter. YOu win your prize and the shelter is happy.

I would not feed Dad's pet food to any pet. But I do patronize Dollar General. Being in Chow Chow rescue for over 20 years, I believe I have and continue to make my share of donations, but thanks for the thought. I hope everyone here makes purchases and makes donations to any deserving sweeps, especially after a win. As I am sure you both do.
