Sweepstakes Ninja | Winners List, Forums, + More!

I noticed that the Natural Handyman 80.00 gift card sweeps is in both Ninja Submissions and My submissions - I did not add this to My Submissions. So it points out an issue with the program not checking Ninja Submission URL's with My Submission URL's so I'm entering these Handyman contests twice every day - I haven't checked for others yet.

Also, when I set the timer for My Submissions to 15000 (15 seconds) the timer is not consistent. Sometimes it only waits 3-5 seconds, sometimes longer. See screenshot.



The Ford Fusion page ( http://www.scottbrand.com/community/landing/naturals#sweepstakes ) that appears AFTER submission is processed "hangs" for up to 10 minutes before ninja continues to next sweeps. There is also a blinking cursor line in center (a little off-center) on the page. On that same note, the Kellog's contest that is tied to http://ked.m.aug.me/enter-now tells me that I've already entered once today - different url's but same contest maybe? Or is one of them in Ninja Submissions as well?

If I doubleclick on a sweeps in the Frequency list (as opposed to the sweeps name, just to highlite it) it changes from Manual Submission to Fast Submission. This doesn't always happen; sometimes if I Save Form the go to Edit, it changes it without me choosing to change it. But only seems to happen when I open the sweeps by doubleclicking that sweeps in the Frequency field. This bug seems to be intermittent. Also just now while simply viewing the gopro sweeps page ninja switched it (with no clicking on anything) from manual to fast submission. That same sweeps ( http://gopro.com/daily-giveaway/ ) will not save ANY fields (name, etc) on that short form.

Readers Digest 25K ( https://legacy.rd.com/sweeps/rd/winbig/index2.jsp?sep_id=46256&trkid=rd_quicky_np ) STREET field and APT field are reversed and won't save when info is entered correctly.

Sundrop ( http://www.mtv.com/asm/sun_drop/ ) - STATE field won't save.

Dolly Parton ( http://www.cmt.com/community/sweepstakes/2011/visit-sevierville/ ) - birthdate DAY and STATE fields won't save.

Taylor Dream Home ( http://dreamhome.taylormorrison.com/enter-to-win.aspx ) when I doubleclick on the sweeps, all fields worked EXCEPT the "agree that I'm 21 or over" checkbox. I checked that, Saved Form, went to edit to mark it as fast submission and the "how soon am I planning on buying new home" field and "which division am I interested in" and Choose State" fields reverted to default ("select one") - but the age checkbox stayed correct.

http://toolseeker2.com/contest.asp page does not exist (not really a bug but you may want to remove from the DB - the issue is on their end).

A "pause" button would be nice for both ninja submissions and My Submissions.

I agree and I put some of the same things in the other thread under bugs. I think the Your Submissions tab has a lot of problems. Maybe they should all be manual, so we can check each one.

I love the auto click feature, but if it's not entering when I think it is, I am not going to be using it. Going back to something I trust! Mee self, my bookmarks and roboform.

Currently working on these items... and ok, I understand what you are saying.

(a) The timer was originally intended for 'Ninja Sweepstakes'. So it doesn't do anything for the 'Your Submissions'. Will add in that feature (because it appears some of the 'auto' sweepstakes need some time to 'process').
(b) "New" auto sweepstakes that are being added are being checked to make sure they enter correctly. It was true that some information was not saved correctly before (but is now being saved).
(c) As for some sweepstakes 'hanging' -- that happens to be the individual websites themselves. (However I may include a 'report' feature that reports those sweepstakes and removes them). It is not the software -- it is the fact they have a lot of javascript/videos/images/etc on the webpage which just hangs on 'older' computer systems, etc. (Some companies only "design" their websites/sweepstakes sites for 'new' computers, i.e., within the last year, not realizing a lot of people still have computers 3-4, and sometimes 10 years old).

MIght have a 'syncronize' option -- which will update those (older) sweepstakes. (Because some of them have been fixed).

How come I can't bring up a sweeps in preview when I doubleclick on one in Ninja Submissions? It only works while in My Submissions. I'd like to see the individual sweeps so that I can modify or at least be sure the form is being filled out correctly. I realize I can click on Details to see rules, etc but I want to see the actual entry page form.

I've had the same issue with manual sweepstakes changing to fast submit. Not sure exactly why it happens, but it happened to a lot (about 20) of my sweepstakes today (5/4/2011).

First, I want to say thanks to Johnathan for working on adding more sweeps to the ninja sweeps section and working so hard on improving the software! The green bar highlighting is an excellent way of tracking which sweeps are being entered and an excellent color choice.

I am also seeing duplicate entries, but I still have almost 300 (most of which were downloaded from the big sweeps database) in 'My Submissions'. Now I am recognizing some of those same sweeps in the 'ninja sweeps' section, some of which are submitting properly and some of which aren't. What is the best way to find these duplicates? I don't see any way to print or send the list to a file for comparison. And the software doesn't seem to cross check for duplicated sweeps in these two sections yet. My only idea is to open two instances of ninja and do a visual comparison. Any better ways?

I have 3 profiles in Ninja. Watching the entry process, I see that the birthdate from the first profile is being entered for the second profile, rather than the correct birthdate.

Finally ninja just locked up as I was writing this on the Leites Culinary - All-Clad Gourmet Ovenware Shallow Baker (1.1) sweeps. Had to shut it down via task manager.

I thought it might have been a special case with Desert Dance, but seems a few people were having it freezing...

Anyways......... have totally recoded the preview window section... So now, it should work without freezing... please try it...

As for duplicates, yes, some of the 'big sweepstakes' items have now been added into the ninja sweepstakes section... haven't yet put in anti-duplicate code for the 'your sweepstakes' section... but working on that...
