I got an email today telling me I won a copy of The Everything Salad Book from SheKnows.com. Granted that it's just a $16 book full of salad recipes that I'll more than likely end up giving to my mom but hey it's better than nothing at all. I'm gonna keep entering as many contests as I can every day. I'm bound and determined that I'm gonna knock out one of those big prizes one of these days. After all someone has to win, it might as well be me.

I won the Bobby Flay's BBQ Throw Down from Letites, and although, JD is a simple griller, my son is not, so for his birthday, we gifted him the book with a cash bookmark (on the recipe I want him to cook for me). He KNEW it was a book, and he starts out opening... I hate books! Hope this is not a book, THEN he saw the cash! OH!! He spent the rest of the evening looking at recipes, and I am sure he loves that book. Sometimes what you win isn't best for YOU, but saves you gift money!!
