A win for me - 60th Wedding Anniversary
Posted: Thu Oct 03, 2013 2:07 pmSixty years ago tomorrow, I married the love of my life. An A1C in the Air Force. Over this sixty years we have traveled a lot in the mid-east. We were stationed in Turkey for six years (two different time, 2 different bases). From the one in Southern Turkey we traveled all over the mid-east and he got to climb Mt. Arat.
We were living in Los Angeles when he got orders for Vietnam. He called me at work and wanted to know where I wanted to live while he was gone. They needed the info right now as he was leaving in two weeks. I told him I was going back to Missouri and never leaving again. What a self proclaimed prophecy.
Love this small town and the people in it.
